Reverse mortgage leads

Homeowners 55 and over, screened for age and ownership, delivered with their reason.

Reverse mortgage leads are older homeowners who want to turn home equity into cash without selling or making regular mortgage payments. It is a narrow market and a sensitive one, so the ads and the form have to be careful as well as effective. Our campaigns run under your name, screen out anyone under 55, and deliver each inquiry to you alone.

  • Age 55+ and homeowner confirmed on the form
  • Reason for the funds included with each lead
  • Exclusive and never resold

Reverse mortgage leads, in 45 seconds

A retired couple with equity and a small pension, the honest trade-off of a reverse mortgage, and the inquiry that reaches you ready for a careful conversation.

Who asks for a reverse mortgage, and why

House-rich, cash-poor

Retired homeowners in Toronto, Vancouver or Victoria whose home is worth far more than their savings, with no wish to move.

Paying out an existing debt

A mortgage or HELOC they would rather not keep paying monthly. Existing liens are cleared from the proceeds.

Repairs and aging in place

Roof, accessibility changes or home care costs that make staying put possible.

Helping family

Support for children or grandchildren. Often a family member joins the call, so be ready for that.

What the broker has to be careful about

Seniors are a vulnerable audience, and regulators treat advertising to them accordingly. Put your brokerage name and licence number on ads where your province requires it, say plainly that interest compounds and equity shrinks, and never promise an amount, a rate or an outcome. Keep the independent legal advice step in the conversation from the start.

Run it as a managed Facebook campaign or pay per lead, and read how it works. See also HELOC leads, the main alternative for equity access, and refinance leads. From Amplify Leads, month to month.

Questions brokers ask us

Who qualifies for a reverse mortgage in Canada?

Homeowners aged 55 or older, and every person on title must meet that age. The home has to be their primary residence, and the amount they can borrow depends mainly on their age, the home value and its location. Our form screens for age and ownership before the lead reaches you.

Which channel works for reverse mortgage leads?

Facebook and Instagram, because many older homeowners are active there and few search for the product until something prompts them. Google Ads works for the group already searching "reverse mortgage". Since Meta removes age targeting for mortgage ads, the message itself has to speak to the 55+ homeowner.

What do the ads have to say about the cost?

Reverse mortgage ads should not hide that interest compounds, that rates are generally higher than a conventional mortgage or HELOC, and that equity shrinks over time. The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada is clear on this, and seniors are a vulnerable audience. We write ads that are honest about the trade-off.

Is independent legal advice required?

It depends on the province. Independent legal advice is required in some provinces and recommended in others, and Ontario brokerages need a signed lawyer statement before arranging one. Confirm the rule for your province with your regulator before you advertise.

Can you guarantee an amount or that borrowers keep the home?

No, and neither can you in an ad. The amount depends on age, location and value, and defaults such as unpaid taxes, disrepair or breaking the contract can put the home at risk. We never write claims like "you can never lose your home".
